Turner Classic Movies has launched a first of it’s kind social networking site for fans of it’s classic movies. Those that love classic films and wish to share their passion with others can now go to www.tcm.com/fan and become a member of the network. Like most social networks you can have friend associations and share links in addition to writing about the films you love in a unique way.
The network comes pre-developed for users with over a million movies and movie stars already interwoven into the site. In their release today about the web-site TCM mentions that there is ‘no bigger repository of materials about films and filmmaking’ available today. Some might disagree, but it is worth it to join and take a look and decide for yourself if the experience is something you would find exciting and worth interacting on.

Re: TCM Classic Film Union I have been collecting old movies for some time, primarily silents to pre-1960. I have concentrated on film noir, 30s, 40s and 50s "B" movies, war movies, etc., but I have actually collected all genres. I have an extensive collection of movies from the UK as I have been trading for some time with several UK traders.I'm always interested in hearing from other collectors and afficionados who are interested in oldies. wp
